Range Rover Before Solar Shades Window Film
As you can see the Range Rover above, is a 2010 model without window film, or privacy glass. The customer had retro fitted TV Screens in to the rear of the vehicle, to keep the kids amused on School Journeys and Supermarket runs!.. The little ones in the back were still not happy with having there own TV, as the suns glare made it very difficult to watch the programs or games on the screen. The customer had been recommended to us, by various people throughout the trade, as we have the knowledge, skills and reputation second to none to undertake the work.
Range Rover With Solar Shades Window Film
As you can see the Range Rover looks 100 times better with window film. There is a HUGE difference between Factory Privacy Film, and Window Film, or Window Tinting. With Privacy it offers you the looks, and cuts a small % of glare. With Window Film it offers you 99.9% UVA and UVB Rejection, 80% Glare and Heat, and also holds the glass in place in the unfortunate case of an accident or break in.
We fitted a 14% film to the rear of the vehicle. This lets in 14% of VLT (Visible light) so its a darker film than what Privacy Glass is from factory. We decided to put this film on the rear, as it cuts more glare from the sun, than 22% (factory) but doesn’t give the car the “gangster” look that 05% (Limo) would give.
The Customers is overly happy with the job we have done. With no visible edges, no gaps of light, and no dirt or imperfections throughout the whole job. The top edges on the glass are smooth, and blended into the glass. We have also found a sneaky way for the film to sit over the “Dot Matrix”, thus not been able to tell weather its film or privacy glass applied to the rear of the vehicle. This is a significant step which sets Solar Shades out from its competitors.
