We are please to announce a new range of high performance window films we have imported over from the states, we can now reduce your winter heat loss, and Solar heat up during the spring and summer months.
All of our films are built in with UV blockers, these reject UVA and UVB rays of 99.9% (we legally cannot say 100%). This is the same as applying sun cream with a SP Factor of 250+.
You can choose from a vast range films to suit your needs. Weather is Glass or Polycarbonate, we can help you. There are various colours and shades to choose, and you can pick a film that goes very well with the design of your house, or its surroundings. We can also offer fully digital design cut films for decorative purposes.
The benefits of these films are vast. You will notice that your energy costs during the winter months will be a lot lower, due to the E coating of these films. Also, if you have air conditioning fitted, you will notice a massive saving during the warmer periods. The US government endorse these films as a way of Reducing Your Carbon Foot Print. With the UV rejection, you can be safe in sun whilst been in your own home. This will also reduce fading to furnishing, fabrics and fixtures, This can triple the normal fade life of most materials. Once fitted the low e coating films will be pretty much invisible to the untrained eye, (depending on shade/colour). Solar Shades will only use films with a scratch resistant coating, enursing the window films stays in the same perfect condition for the duration of its life.
Solar Shades works to improve their part on reducing their Carbon Foot Print, and are working to becoming Carbon Neutral by 2012. We recycle all waste products, and return empty rolls and boxes back to our supplier to reuse. Wehave just updated our range of vans which are now alot more environmentally friendly and are able to use Bio Diesel. We a currentlyworking with a local company who have just designed a system for our van to run on hydrogen, leaving us running a completely clean vehicle. We will keep you updated on this, and let you know how we get on. The design is currently been tested by Avon and Somerset Police, on there highway vehicles.
